I had an appointment for a regular polish mani-pedi yesterday that ended up with me having a bleeding toe and a bad manicure. The nail tech who did my nails let my foot soak for about 30 seconds before having me take my foot out and start working on my toe. They kept aggressively cutting my cuticles around my big toe that I started bleeding. (Now, to be fair, I have weird toenails, but I have been to this salon before and not had this problem.) The tech said no apologies or anything about the bleeding though. Eventually the bleeding stopped, so I thought it was okay. Nope! Realized overnight while I was working that my toe had been slowly bleeding through the night. The bleeding has since stopped after I've gotten off my feet, but I shouldn't have to be on bedrest after a pedicure! Moving on to the manicure, I thought everything was fine until it had dried and I saw that the second coat of polish wasn't even properly painted over the first coat, so there are distinct edges between the first and second coat; the coats are even different colors! There are so many bubbles and what looks like shrink wrap marks as well on several nails. I'm really disappointed with all of this because I usually come here for mani-pedis and have recommended this salon to my friends. Now I think I have to find a new nail salon because this experience has scarred me. I really wish I could get my money back, but unfortunately I paid in cash.
