I am not personally a client at CBT - but my spouse is. And after going here for a few months she has made a lot of progress. It's easy to see that Dr. Young is invested in her getting better, and has even involved me in a few sessions - all of which I found impactful in a positive way. He goes the extra mile and helps me build skills so I can help my spouse navigate the therapy process and the triggers she deals with day-to-day.

The counselor kept calling me by the wrong name during our second session. I did not return for another session.

I've been receiving care at Cville CBT since 2019. My experience has been great all around. Everyone at the office is helpful, attentive, and responsive. My counselor has helped me make some major breakthroughs, and I'm in a much better place now than I was three years ago. Thanks, Cville CBT!

I have been receiving services from this center since January of 2022, but honestly I wish I had known about this place years ago. I specifically receive services for Dr. Robert Young. I do mostly telehealth, but when I have the opportunity to do in person appointments I travel about 2.5 hours to do so (worth it). For more details about my specific experience with Dr. Young please see my other review under his name by google search (also five stars). In addition to a great in session experience (even when addressing challenging situations) their office is really well managed. As someone who deals with anxiety just scheduling an appointment can be its own challenge, but communicating with Cindy (the office administrator) is the best. She makes all the pieces fit together. I have also gotten to interact with some of the other practitioners at Cville CBT in passing and if you cant see Dr.Young you will still receive amazing and caring service with any of the available therapists. While I wish I wasnt in a position to need these services I am really grateful that since I do Dr. Young and Cville CBT are around and willing to help.

I would stay clear of this establishment if you value your privacy. Rob Young shares specific details of other patient experiences during sessions which I felt was inappropriate. He loves to talk, talk, and talk and will occasionally listen. He has a crude sense of humor and is judgmental. He shares anecdotal situations that are irrelevant. He dispenses substandard recommendations. My child was traumatized by their experience with this therapist!
