I found Tabitha, the lovely owner of Color Factory, after several unsatisfactory salon experiences in Charlottesville. Over the past 18 months, she has done color, highlights, cuts, and keratin treatments on my hair. I've been coloring my hair for ~30 years and Tabitha is, by far, the most skilled colorist I have ever experienced. Not only has she succeeded where others have failed in achieving my desired color, but she also has explained the scientific aspects of hair color to me in ways no one else ever has. She really is a genius with color! In addition, I'm not always easy to satisfy (mostly because my hair is so stubborn) and Tabitha goes to great lengths to ensure I'm happy with the results -- always cheerfully and with a smile. Her salon is also a breath of fresh air in that I have never heard her or any of her employees utter a negative word in my presence -- something that unfortunately is rare among salons, in my experience. Five stars!

Its amazing that a place that opened their doors by deceit and taking advantage of life long friends and children have pulled the wool over its customers faces. This business has been reached out to close to 100 times to pay their plumbing installation bill that got her business off the ground and they stole that labor. This is just the tip of the deceit. Every business has satisfied customers. But peel back the layers you will find a business that was put together by manipulation, lying and cheating to get what they want. My family spent a year and a half of our lives to get this business where it is today. Tricked us into being business partners. Your logo, your ideas, your brand was all stolen. I tried for the past year to get you to resolve simple matters. But you blocked calls, unresponsive to text, ignored labor bills. Not a trustworthy member of society. I would highly recommend Tabitha and her team for anything hair related! Tabitha is seriously so talented. She does the best platinum blonde hair! I'm always getting compliments on my hair from complete strangers with them asking where I got my hair done. I also really appreciate that she educates you on how to take care of your hair and keep it healthy. I've been to some hair salons where they don't properly explain the process to achieve your dream hair or how to maintain it. But Tabitha explains everything so well without confusing jargon. She is also such a genuinely kind person, and I always enjoy my time at her salon chatting with her. It makes the hours go by fast! Her prices are very reasonable and for her talent it is worth every penny!

Ive been seeing the girls at CF for over 12 years. They are the best color stylists around and are phenomenal with thick curly hair.
Their artist, Skylar, is so creative and excellent at funky styles. You cant go wrong. Services: Blowouts, Haircut, Hair coloring
