The Sycamore Tree

Very disappointed in this shop. I have been trying to visit for a number of months but their hours are limited. Upon stepping into the shop it takes all but a few moments to realize that it is less of a Christian bookstore and more of a Catholic Shop. Which if that is your thing then this would be a great place for you. However as a protestant Christian it was put off to see far more items displaying the name of Saints than that of Jesus Christ. I was also surprised to see the small number of Physical bibles that the store carried, and would even go as far as to say the Barnes and Noble just a few miles up the road has more options. If your looking for a traditional christian bookstore then this is certainly not what your looking for. However if your looking for a more Catholic and progressive oriented store then this would be for you.

Awesome place! The couple that own it are sweet, helpful and very knowledgeable! They guided us finding exactly what we were looking for and ordered what they didn't have in stock!

A shop so lovely it earned my first google review. I spent one of the most pleasant afternoons I've had in a long while shopping here yesterday. Grieving and stressed, I found probably near half of the Christmas gifts I needed. Maria and Richard thank you so very much, blessings and love to you and yours this Christmas.

Love the sycamore tree. I go here for the majority of my Christian book needs for myself as well as for family members, my young nephews most especially. Couple that runs the store are wonderful people.

Great store and selection! Terrific service! Reasonable prices! I would recommend them to anyone. Nice perk is they're locally owned and operated. I'd rather go there any day than to buy similar stuff online.
