    Heed the other Ashley furniture reviews.  We've had our living room set for under a year and two of the three pieces that we bought are broken.  It is a structural defect that is under warranty and we've been trying to get it fixed for several weeks now.  A technician did come out, took pictures and was supposed to be back to do the repairs the next week, but that was over three weeks ago.  The end result is that we paid well over $3,000 for this set, paid for a warranty and we still have poorly made furniture and no ability to get it fixed.  Buy your furniture anywhere else, but if you buy from Ashley, this is what you can expect...

    It's too bad that Google won't allow reviews of 0 (or negative) stars, because that would be more representative of how awful my experience with Ashley Furniture was. I bought 2 pieces of furniture. At the point of sale I was given a delivery date that was less than a week in advance. I was surprised, so I asked them to confirm. They did, and to make this work, I had to move into a new apartment early so that my furniture could be delivered to my new apartment. In the end, after over a dozen phone calls in the course of a month, I was given 4 different delivery dates where I waited for the truck that never appeared. When they finally showed up nearly 2 months later, the couch I purchased had been switched out for a different one, and I was told on the phone that "I was just gonna have to deal with it". I decided at that point that I was going to dispute the charge on my credit card and be done with it. The cherry on the top was the fact that a couple weeks after I purchased the furniture (and after call number 3 or 4 to customer service), the store closed down with no call forwarding. I had to track down another number online.

    I wanted a love seat or a couch and the person showed me many of them. I chose one love seat but when it got delivered, it was huge, very high with the legs. I realized that all the furniture there is huge and bulky, but because I saw them all like that, I didn't realize it was way to big for me. I knew I'd have to put a pillow behind my back but even so I can hardly put my feet on the floor. I feel that the people working there (and other furniture stores) want a commission so badly that they don't suggest anything or help you find something to your needs. I am not used to buy furniture and I don't have much money, I am very disappointed with this expense, I will not recommend this store to my friends and of course I will not buy anything else. I have to sell this love seat at a cheaper price than I bought it because I just can't use it, I have to climb on that this.

    Monday Labor day, Went to buy a $4000 purchase on furniture with my ashley card. Client of ashley since 2011. Items were selected the day before by my husband and I. We were attended by "Steven Phillips" - Manager of the store the whole time. The next day went back to finalized the purchase paperwork and finance with Steven, but right in that moment Steven said one of the mattresses wouldn't come with the fundation for $1100 mattress price, when he actually always refered to that mattress as set for that price he actually give us $ 100 off for the set with the condition of buying more items Witch we did. He had this terrible customer service actitud and fustration towards me and the sale. After seen that actitud I told me I will only purchase the mattress and pay also for the fundation that I thought would be included but after he heard that he got even more fustrated and told me he will have to increase the price for the mattress if I wouldn't buy the other items I selected, I kept telling him if he would mentioned the day before that the fundation was not included with the mattress I wouldn't have selected the other items to reach the amount of $4000, he offered me a low profile fundation but didn't show me what kid. I can't buy something I haven't see before. So, I rejected it. Then he offered me to include the fundation with the condition to buy the rest of the items selected. I agreed since that was the deal we got the day before. When he was reviewing the order sheet with me he was still fustrated and when I asked him to point me where the fundation was on the order sheet but his reaction was slapping the table where the sheet was seating, even I told him to calm down and work on his customer service skills and I walked away from that store. If he wouldn't have such a bad frustration with a client and slapping door, tables, and poor customer service, I would have made my purchase as planned.
