She informed me and my family right away that they were out of nuggets and strips. I was going to order a Cobb Salad and my son who is a very picky eater really wanted nuggets.
She gladly offered us a great alternative and told us the kitchen can cut up a sandwich filet for us, if we wanted that. It isn't the same as nuggets, but it made my son happy, and if my son is happy, I am happy.
She also strike up a quick conversation about the UVA game (we were wearing UVA merch for the game that day). She made us all crack up and we left her with a big smile on all of our faces, and my family and I are grateful for that.
With the pandemic happening and it being 9/11, it can be hard to smile and laugh. She obviously has a great personality and made our day better. Talk about great service!!!
