Initially I was very happy with the service I received from Shini. I really wanted to write an excellent review for her. However, I cannot do this for her unfortunately. I live out of the state of VA, so I had to get the vehicle inspected in my home state after I purchased it from Altech Cars. My mechanic who I have known for years, informed me the vehicle is in terrible condition underneath with rust damage to the extent that the frame has holes through it and will not pass inspection unless repaired. If I'm lucky, I will get 3 years out of the vehicle. Brake caliper's are also seized up and will need repaired to pass inspection. There are many other issues such as hoses being ducked taped as a temporary fix to patch the holes. My mechanic stated that the vehicle should have never been sold through a dealership. He said even if it passed VA inspection, the dealership should have seen these issues and not sold it and send it back through auction. He showed me all the rust areas under the vehicle. The vehicle is a 2009 XLT, which is not that old of a vehicle to have the kind of damage to it that it has or that one would expect when buying from a dealership. I informed Shini of what was discovered on the vehicle. Unfortunately there is nothing that she was willing to do or could do to make this right for me. I trusted that the vehicle went through VA state inspection and Altech cars also looked at the vehicle. I assumed that this would be enough to trust that the vehicle was in good shape. I guess this isn't enough. If you buy from this dealership, you need to carefully look the vehicle over and look underneath the vehicle. Apparently VA state inspection process doesn't require that the vehicle be inspected underneath to ensure that the frame of the vehicle isn't rusting away.

Professional, polite, knowledgeable but most importantly honest and trustworthy! I have been involved with cars all my life and have had my fair share of interactions and transactions with new & used car dealerships, body shops and mechanics. Altech cars is at the top of the list - put it this way at least twice a week I am looking at their inventory for my next toy.
