Luna Hair

I've had the pleasure of being a client of Luna for almost two years now. Each time she has delivered a exceptional haircut where I am always at ease and immensely satisfied with the final result. Luna is very knowledgeable about hair and tips for taking care of it and styling it where each visit I feel like I learn something new that's useful for me to apply going forward! I always look forward to the next visit. I definitely can't recommend Luna enough!

I had my hair 'cut' at when Luna was still at Hair Prince. She recommended taking some weight off my hair. I had fine hair, but a lot of it. Stylists throughout the years have often commented that very thing, saying, " You have fine hair, but a good head of hair, full hair". I trusted Luna because of her demeanor, she seemed very professional and kind and knowledgeable. She began cutting and it was unlike any method I have ever experienced. She cut at almost a 90-degree angle, very close to the scalp, to the point of it being painful and I was vocally wincing. I did not realize what she was doing, nor did Luna inform that what she was doing was going to be permanent and irreversible. Initially, I thought it was just a bad cut. But it felt different than the hundreds of haircuts I have had throughout my 66 years of life. You know that old saying, when you don't like your hair? Everyone says, "Don't worry, it will grow out". I kept hoping it would. But every time I ran my hands through my hair, even laying my head on a pillow, there was no cushion, it was just scalp, or especially when I shampooed it, I knew in my gut, that something had gone terribly wrong. But I didn't want to face it. I called Luna and tried to get back in but was unable due to several factors. My hair had to be placed on the back burner. Over a year later and my hair is horribly horribly thin, visibly and tangibly thin. I know now it is permanently altered and damaged. Why Luna would employ this method baffles me, and why Luna did not inform me that what she was doing was going to be permanent is very questionable. Shampoos, product make no difference. My nice head of hair is gone, leaving me with embarrassing thin hair. I have read the positive reviews and have no doubt that they are true. Unfortunately, I will forever regret the day I walked into that salon.

Luna is by far the best hair stylist I've ever had. She is very knowledgeable and passionate about hair and I'm always happy with her haircuts. The thing that really sets her apart from others is that she genuinely cares about her clients. She will always ask if everything looks okay at the end of a cut and will do anything she can to fix any imperfections. Highly recommend setting up an appointment or consultation with her if you are in the area.

I highly recommend Luna if anyone is looking for a new hair stylist. A friend of mine recommended her around the time I was looking to get a men's perm, and came out with a fantastic experience. In the past, I've asked other hair stylists for a perm, and they would simply give me a generic one that they felt comfortable doing, despite the fact I would ask if they can talk me through different methods to get the style I wanted. In the case of Luna, she listened carefully to what type of perm I was looking for, and she walked through different perm methods, then explained what she was going to do and why, in detail, based on my hair type and condition, and asked if I was okay with that. She even provided recommendations on tips to treat my hair's condition on my own. Since then, she has become my go-to hair stylist for perms and general haircuts. I always go in with a slightly different style in mind, and she always delivers exactly what I want because she keeps up with the latest hair trends and styles. Again, I cannot express how amazing she is and would recommend her to anyone in a heart beat. Thank you Luna!

Amazing! Luna is so professional and really takes the time to figure out what works best for you. Ive loved every haircut Ive gotten and looking forward to my next haircut!
