Centreville Dental Design: Jae Chong, DMD

Pro: This dentist takes about 2 seconds to put in a filing. Con: The filing fit will be so messed up that you will be in severe pain in about a days time. The only good thing I can find about this place is the receptionist is super hot, but very very surly.

My experience started with a severely painful tooth --ON A SATURDAY. Dr Chong saw me that same day, diagnosed the problem and temporarily relieved the pain. Next week, he pulled the tooth and began the process of giving me a new one. It took months, but the results were terrific. I cannot tell any difference in sight or feel. VERY professional and accommodating and sensitive to my pain level. I strongly recommend Dr Chong and his staff (never a problem with the billing or appointments or assistance in the procedures).

I had the unfortunate experience going here over a year a go, and I still have nightmares! I was new to the area searching for a good, honest dentist, and thought this place would be convenient for a check up. But I couldn't be more wrong; Dr. Jae eyes are filled with dollar signs! Dr. Jae spent most of the time explaining all the cosmetic fixes he can perform on my teeth (whitening, minor tooth alignment, etc.) Then, he apologizes profusely that he found a cavity, which I thought was strange since I had a check up six months before and there was no sign of it. I set up a separate appointment for the cavity (so he could charge more money to my insurance). At that appointment, he took about 2 seconds to drill my teeth and took zero effort to make sure the filling was shaped to match my bite. Fast forward to a day later, my mouth is in extreme pain and it is impossible for me to chew from shitty shaped filling on my molar. I made an emergency appointment with another dentist (obviously I didn't trust Dr. Jae to fix it), and the another dentist couldn't believe that a dentist in the area would do such bad work.Dr. Jae only sees money in your teeth and will sacrifice your welling being just to make an extra dollar.

It facility should hire someone who is better at customer service. They should not push you to do thing they see fit. If you don't want to be treated like a dumb customer, please find somewhere professional.
