        Challenging but fun hike! Like others have mentioned, definitely a rollercoaster with ~3 pretty big ascents and descents each way. Two creek crossings but (at least this time of year) no issue crossing while staying dry. Bring water and wear good hiking boots! Parking: Two free parking options - 1 lot for ~20 cars at the trailhead that is a bit narrow. We saw someone get ticketed for double parking. There is an overflow lot with plenty of room where we parked, BUT it is across a highway with 2 lanes on each side of a median. Visibility was good so we felt safe crossing but be prepared! Fees: No fee Restrooms: No restroom on sight that I saw
