WiFi - took 82 minutes to get WiFi to pick up laptop.had to turn off WiFi on phones. TV would not connect to streaming svcs for over 2 hrs of trying, disconnecting, & restarting. Disconnected overnight & then the next morning finally able to connect to streaming. During the 4 days, WiFi & TV continued to bufferslow.
Quirky - open the door and youre starring straight at the shower. Speaking of the shower, the door opens outso when you come out of the shower, youre stepping on the kitchen floor (no rugkitchen rug close). When you open the shower door, water drips on the floor. The shower pressure is very little so ladies if you have lots of hair like me, it will take a while to get the shampoo out! Men if youre tall, youll come very close or actually hit your head on the shower head.
To keep quirky going, the bathroom sink also doubles for the kitchen sink (yuck)!
The front door has a fairly large gap at the top right & there is a noticeable gap coming down the door frame to the bottom allowing cold air in & whatever wants to crawl in. (Photos included to show door gap at the top & down the door.video wouldnt load. We have seen some small ants by the sink, stink bugs, and while sitting in bed, at 2236 hrs & a small roach crawled right across the bed!!!! One dropped from the shower head on my husband on day 2. I hate bugs!!!! Freaked me out making it hard to sleep!!! A mouse just ran across the floor from the kitchen area & into the main living area.! Cant wait to leave very early in the morning.checking everything to make sure nothing goes with me!!!! Gross!
Paying so much shouldnt have to empty all the trash cans & take the trash to the street..we did though.
This place has a lot of charm; however, the quirky kitchen/bathroom area, bugs, & WiFi issues really had me turned off. Id say for us, it felt more like 2+ stars . I had such high hopes for this place.
Included some good photos & door issues photos. FYI - when I went to write my review I saw it said Bed & Breakfast. There is no breakfast.
