Studio Romance Richmond Boudoir Photography Studio

Im generally very easy to please and go with the flow. I just had a downright horrible first time experience and wanted to share with the community. Read the fine print. Be prepared to spend $800+ on some unprofessional blurry, barely edited photos. I was overcharge and didnt discover until later, and the front desk lady didnt care to apologize in the slightest. Her demeanor was so brash and annoyed from the beginning. It was a dated, dirty studio. Dirty pillows, ripped dirty couch. Dead flies on the floor. Photographer was female which was good but she literally wanted to get done as fast as possible. Antonym of empowered. Ignored? Unheard? Offered little feedback during the session aside from telling me where to place my arms, where to look, arch my back. The pictures could have been so much cuter has she just told me to make little adjustments here or there. And if they were in focus. They made me speed through the selection process because after taken the photos her software hadnt been updated. I respectfully asked to speak to the owner to voice my concerns but GG, at the front desk, who is standoffish and unapologetic, told me I couldnt, in so many words. Took more than two weeks to get gallery back, only after calling to ask about it. Honestly felt like they forgot about me and then rushed through any editing/cropping that was done. Its obvious in quality. Asked Amanda the photographer during the session to edit out a blemish on my leg, like mentioned it more than once, and when it wasnt done, said we never talked about it. I just did it myself. Same with the ugly outlets. At least she cropped out the fake out of season, fall decor. Maybe I had higher expectations based on the reviews and price point. But OMG. Extremely poor communication and customer service. Like- they legitimately dont care. I feel taken advantage of and ugly. Intended as a wedding gift for my fianc. Feels like Ive fallen prey to false reviews or those generated by family/friends/not the real world. Just super disappointed. The nuances could have easily been attenuated if anyone was just nice. Overall: DO NOT RECOMMEND. There must be better studio options in Richmond.

100% made me feel at home and totally comfortable. All 3 ladies were AMAZING. Will definitely be using them again in the future

These ladies are awesome!!! They make you feel absolutely amazing. You have got to do this for yourself ladies. I walked out feeling like I was on top of the world after. I cant say enough good things about them. You wont be disappointed!
