Not a lot of say about this place. - Barely few teachers are certified and majority of them do not have basic training nor started training to teach. -Most of the teachers are converted from Assistants to Teachers because of under staffing issues. These teachers are hardly teaching in the classroom and mostly seen gossiping in Office rooms of hours. - Same teachers frequently disappear from classroom or usually using cellphones to chat/video calls. - No empathy or concern shown if child get hurt in the classroom or playground. - About Management/ Head of School hardly pay attentions if proper standards maintained in the premises. E.g. poorly maintained playground that are broken or aged. - They are the main reasons for having poor staffing issues. Recent incidents Teacher was caught vaping in the classroom. This shows the standards maintained by Management. I would question teachers/management if any of these are true before enrolling your child.

I'm thrilled to recommend this school to parents seeking an alternative to public elementary education. My daughter has had an exceptional experience at this school, and the teachers and staff have been outstanding. One of the events that impressed me was the "Heroes from History" presentation. It was amazing to see how the elementary students researched a hero from history and presented it on stage to the entire school and parents. This kind of public speaking is usually not taught until later in middle or high school, but the school encourages students to develop their skills from a young age. The teachers and staff are dedicated to providing a well-rounded education beyond academics. Specifically, Ms. Nicki and Ms. Laurie are fantastic teachers devoted to their student's success. Academically, Guidepost Montessori offers a solid program that allows students to learn while having fun. The work is engaging and keeps children interested in learning. Given the excellent child-to-teacher ratio, our daughter can get the attention she needs to excel academically. The teachers are always available to answer questions and provide support. The school also ensures that parents are in the loop with transparent communication and "watch me work" sessions. The staff members, Mr. James, Ms. Libby, and Ms. Melissa, also plan exciting events and activities that keep the children engaged throughout the year and are all very kind. The school also strongly emphasizes transparent communication, which has been invaluable in keeping me informed about my daughter's progress. I highly recommend this school to any parent seeking an alternative to public elementary education. I'm so grateful that my daughter has had the opportunity to attend this school.

Business Response on Google Feb 20th, 2024
Dear Rahul,We are always grateful to receive feedback, whether positive or critical, from any member of our community. I've taken a look at our records, because I'd really like to ensure I deeply understand your concerns, but I'm unable to connect your name with a member of our community. We would love the opportunity to speak directly and better understand what you've seen or experienced, and to answer any questions you may have. Please don't hesitate to contact our team using [email protected] if you would be open to connecting. It is true that the majority of the Assistant Guides (teachers) across our network are promoted to Lead Guide positions over time. Rather than being a last resort due to under-staffing, this is an intentional part of our model. We invest a great deal in training for our guides and find that someone who has completed or is deeply engaged in the accredited training we provide and who has the experience of serving in our classrooms as an assistant guide is the ideal candidate to lead a classroom. All of our lead guides have either completed an accredited Montessori training program, or are in the process of completing one. The worries you've raised about quality standards are very concerning, and we take them extremely seriously. While much of your feedback doesn't align with our experience, consistent observations, feedback, and coaching is something we're constantly working on and we'll hope to get additional detail from you as we continue our ongoing improvement efforts. Whether we get the opportunity to connect or not, we'll be reflecting on what you've shared to identify any areas where we may have fallen short and ensure we're addressing them fully.
