As their named stated this moving company was indeed ready and helpful with a last minute move from Ashburn to Alexandria. The movers charged us a last minute hourly rate that was about 90 dollars an hour for 3 movers and a giant truck that actually fitted our 3 bedroom home in one go.
The fact that these movers were local definitely saved us time - which was translated into saving money - since it was an hourly rate.
At the end of the day we were satisfied with the service and could recommend using this company. We would also recommend to purchase the packing material beforehand since the packing material did increase the cost of the move - but in the company's credit we must say that this was stated upfront by the representative in our initial call.
