Came here almost on a whim, and very glad I did! Our waiter was very attentive and had a good sense of humor! The food was delicious as well! I really enjoyed the Kashmiri naan was something that I havent seen on any other menus. Highly recommend!

We were at Banjara for the weekend buffet at a party. All the items starting from salad to curries and naan were served fresh and hot. Taste was amazing and so was the hospitality. Kids to Elderly, all the age group enjoyed the food. Highly recommend!

I went during the last weekend and the service was absolutely horrible. The server had no idea what the dish had in it. We specifically asked him whether the malai kofta gravy had too much elaichi (cardamom) taste (since we hate it) and we were told no. Then he brings the dish and all we can taste is elaichi! When we complained, they reacted as if we're being too picky. No apology and not even any effort to fix the dish or take it off the bill. We literally didn't touch it because the taste was very overpowering. Apart from that, the food is also very subpar for the price. We ordered another sabzi and even that was mediocre at best. Run of the mill tomato sauce with frozen paneer heated so tasted like rubber. The prices are 'luxury' level and we were left truly disappointed. The ambiance is decent but who cares when you think Indian food needs curry crammed with elaichi is 'good enough'? Please make your chefs taste actual north indian food before serving that to customers and ruining Indian cuisine by calling it 'authentic'.

A BIG shout out to Banjara in Ashburn for their amazing North Indian cuisine. We catered food for approximately 170 person event over a weekend recently. Rahul Nakhare and Jagpal were wonderful to work with. They gave us a quick response, friendly, courteous and honest take on quantity without haggling on price. We were concerned on shortage of food. Our concerns were eased by their response - "Just call and we will bring more. Rest assured." Chicken 65 was a huge hit as was the paneer tikka, ragda patties, dahi vada, samosas, fresh naan. My favorite was fresh chutneys, fresh pani and fresh poori (Pani was just right... Oh, so so good)!! The food was well spiced and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. They even offered catering trays, serving utensils and servers. Full end to end service so we could focus on other things for the party. Food was delivered 15 minutes earlier than scheduled - which was welcomed. It was very timely and well done. In and out, ready for the guest to dive in! If you do decide to go with Banjara - remember to invite the one that wrote this review. :) Joking aside, I'm hopeful you will experience the same service, great food and a memory in the books!
