Matt is very knowledgeable about the real estate market in Arlington. From the beginning, he listened carefully to our top priorities and guided us through the super competitive process. You could really tell that he wants you to find your dream home. He never pushed us one way or the other but offered experienced and accurate assessments of the many homes we looked at together and managed our expectations, which I think is critical in this hot market. Matt was also very patient with our dozens of questions and professional. We closed on our condo purchase a few days ago - he and his team ensured that it was a smooth closing. We worked with Matt to buy our townhouse in Alexandria and were beyond impressed with his professionalism, responsiveness, and work ethic. Matt's knowledge of the competitive DMV real estate market is second to none and this expertise paired with his excellent negotiation skills was crucial in putting together a strong and successful offer. Throughout our housing search, Matt was incredibly responsive and was always available for a call/text (at all hours - we are convinced he doesn't sleep!). Our housing search took a few months but Matt was patient, kept a positive attitude, and was always willing to meet to show us a property. We also appreciated Matt's honest and transparent opinions on certain properties/neighborhoods, attention to detail, and creative pricing/offer suggestions that we had never thought of before. Matt was also always in constant contact with the listing agent so we knew what was important to the seller before we even toured a home and where our offer stood. Even after we went under contract on our house Matt was always available for questions to ensure a smooth and timely closing process. Buying a home can be overwhelming, but working with Matt made the entire process stress-free. He will be the only realtor we call when it comes time to find our next home!

I recently sold a condo in Arlington as a non-resident owner. Matt was very helpful as my local eyes and ears and even feet, and gave me great suggestions for picking out finishes for the medium-scale renovation that we did. And the staging, which was very attractive, was included at no extra charge. He was very prompt in responding to my texts and emails, and priced my condo well, getting more than one offer above list price and selling it after only a few days!

Matt is the best realtor around the NOVA area and I cant recommend his services enough. Hes lightning in a bottle and has a nose for the great homes. I found him via YouTube in 2019 and kept up with his vibrant social media accounts until my wife and I decided to purchase our home. We bought a 4b5ba in Gainesville, VA with a Veterans Affairs (VA) loan (closed 6 Jan, 2022). Matt was knowledgeable with how the VA loan process works and was attentive throughout the entire process. Not only did we get a HOT home in this market but we didnt even offer above list price which is unheard of nowadays (and Matt is strategically brilliant in that he didnt even think we had to offer above so he saved us thousands of dollars). Matt even negotiated $5,000 off list and we went under contract in just under 2 days. Throughout the process he navigated us through many hurdles that we would not have been able to do on our own. For starters he put a contingency in our offer that required the seller to remediate any radon foundyou guessed it there was radon and the seller installed a $1200 reduction system because Matt was forward thinking enough to include it in the offer (I didnt even know radon was a thing). The home was being sold by Redfin instead of an individual so he was jockeying, working, and fighting his way through a bureaucratic organization with poor communication. We nearly had to delay closing because the seller was non responsive. The entire time he kept a cool head and helped us through to secure our dream home. We also bought over the Xmas holiday and Matt never once texted back any later than 5 minutes after we reached out. He constantly showed that he takes his clients very seriously. He even waited with us for 4 hours on closing day when he didnt have to because the title company messed up their scheduling and he wanted to be there when we got the keys! Will use to sell our home in the future 100%.

Matt is incredibly knowledgeable about the real estate market and helped my fiance and I navigate a tough market and ultimately purchase a townhome in Ashburn! He worked all hours of the day (and night!) to book listings for us last-minute, oftentimes just hours before the show time. The market is very volatile and he provided expert analysis on how much properties would likely close at when factoring in the need to offer over asking prices. This information enabled us to secure a fantastic property for only 10k over asking price (shocking in this market!!). Matt is a fantastic realtor who consistently went over and above in supporting our house hunt. He made what otherwise would have been a very difficult experience into a smooth and low-stress process and always kept us informed on next steps and what to expect at each point in the process.
