Piano & More

My 9 year old twins have been taking lessons with Sheida for almost 18 months now. Sheida has such a calm command and engaging personality for both of my boys. They love their piano lessons and even recently said to me "I want to take piano forever with Sheida." The Piano and More does an excellent job not only pairing the instructors with students, but also holding various events over the course of the year, such as open mic nights, recitals, and group tickets to family performances at the Kennedy Center. They foster a safe and motivating learning environment for our kids to tap into their musical skills.

We are big fans of Piano and More! Coralie Chu is our 8 year old daughters piano teacher for the past 1.5 to 2 years. She comes to your house, is prompt, and is always available to provide feedback. Eleanor enjoys that Coralie makes lessons fun and teaches (including the more pop type songs) her the pieces Eleanor prefers. I appreciate Coralie incorporating the classics and Coralies focus on ear training as well. Will plan to continue with Coralie and this group for the future!

I highly recommend Piano & More. I was lucky to find it before we moved to VA. It was easy to navigate through their website, and someone contacted me right away. When we moved to VA, my daughter started her piano classes. My daughter has been enjoying her piano classes very much. She likes her teacher, too. She had one piano recital where she performed three songs and sang. She also attended NSO Family Concert: Girl Power! at the Kennedy Center with Piano & More. My daughter practices almost every day, and Piano & More plays an important role in her musical education. Thank you!

Last year, we wanted to get our daughter started on piano lessons. However, most studios require you go to their place and it is really challenging for our busy schedule especially with the terrible traffic around this area. Then we found Piano & More and their private tutors would come to your place and teach the students. Also, I love their idea to focus on "fostering interests" for young kids rather than some studios' competitive goals. We scheduled a trial class and Ms Anya is an awesome teacher who is very patient and very good at working with kids. We now have continued the lessons for almost a year and is very happy with our daughter's progress. Another thing I love about Piano & More is all scheduling and payments are handled on their website and it's super easy to use. Highly recommend them!
