Dr. Katherine O. McCabe is a comprehensive ophthalmologist and cataract surgeon at See Clearly Vision in McLean and Arlington, Virginia. She is native to the DC metropolitan area, born and raised in Fairfax County. Dr. McCabe graduated with distinction from the University of Virginia. She then earned her medical degree at Virginia Commonwealth University School of Medicine, where she was honored by the American Medical Womens Association for graduating first in her class. She completed her ophthalmology residency at New York Eye & Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, one of the leading eye hospitals in the country. During her training, she spearheaded research which was presented at the Association for Research in Vision and Ophthalmologys Annual Meeting.
