I got a pedicure here in August and it wasn't great--I left with nail polish on my cuticles. I decided to give it another go because fo the good reviews and went back recently to get a gel manicure. Unfortunately, but had an even less successful experience. The nail tech forgot to put top coat on one hand and instead just put on lotion and cuticle oil. I noticed after the little hand massage that one hand wasn't shiny/glossy/finished and she just put the top coat on over all the product (didn't wipe anything off first). Because of this, it was very uneven and had bubbles in the finish. I pointed it out and she just applied another layer of top coat, presumably to smooth it out. At this point, I was uncomfortable but she had left and the manager, Cindy, was helping me check out. I explained the situation and Cindy graciously offered to fix it herself--only to apply yet another top coat to smooth it out. I was so uncomfortable at this point that I just paid and left. I will not be returning. Update: 36hrs later and my thumbnail is already lifting and chipped.

I was very pleased with awesome customer service. I have been to several nail salons in the area and I have not felt that Customer service like Yorktown Nails. Being a lone male in all instances I have found that here they were the best for me. Well done ladies and I will definitely see you again. And the tea was delightful. Thank You, Kellz

I went to YN for a pedicure and acrylic nail fill-in. The pedicure was ok nothing to rave about. However this review is primarily to highlight the horrible acrylic fill-in service provided to me by the manicurist that sits closest to the front. She was extremely rude, over manipulated my hand placement, got acrylic residue all over me, and my nails were crooked (until I had her fix them). I estimate that she probably yanked and/or dropped my hand 10+ times. I wish I knew her name specifically. Worst nail experience ever. Avoid this place altogether. Services: Acrylic nails, Pedicure
