Buffalo Wild Wings

I have visited Crystal City location may times before (I ate lunch there almost daily when the BWW first opened). In the beginning, they had great specials and promos. However, things started going downhill. Promos went away, and there was significant staff turnover. After COVID, BWW came up with good lunch specials, and I would go from time to time. Yesterday (4/8/24) I did a takeout order, and it was horrible. Wings were dry and hard, fries were soggy (this one I can forgive since it was a to go order, and fries were placed in a box). I also asked for sauce on the side and there was barely any sauce (half of the little container for 15 wings (c'mon BWW, I know that you have watch your costs, but this is too much). For me, this is the final straw; I am not coming back to BWW; I am done.

Showed up at 9:40 and was told they stop serving food in the restaurant at 10:00 and I had to get take out, I said your open until 11:00 and it isnt even 10:00 yet, the blonde older woman at the service desk refused to serve us. It was raining and we obviously walked in the rain with two children several blocks to get there due to no parking. We left and will never come back. Horrible customer service, that lady should be fired. Also entry way smelled like mildew or mold and the area you check in was disgusting and looked run down, like the hostess.

Went in today for opening day of baseball. Not a single baseball game on at 4 pm and its opening day. There wasnt a single live sport on when I walked in. The manager was friendly enough and changed some of the TVs for me (thanks)sat at the bar to eat and watch the game. Very long story short, terrible service as always. One server who I hadnt even spoken to decided it was his job to stick up for his very inattentive bar tender and defend why I had spent over 20 minutes (i timed it)without her checking on me. Im watching a game, normally this wouldnt matter as muchbut my food came out luke warm (almost no customers even there) and the wings barely had any sauce. The bartender was just talking to all her co-workers (many of whom were just sitting around) rather than thinking it might be a good idea to check on me a single time. I feel like the manager wanted to be helpful, but the other server never gave him a chance, and the manager clearly didnt have the wherewith-all to tell him this wasnt his place. Poor training on both ends. I served for 10 years. this place is always awful with service. I even had a waiter leave while serving here once and never came back. waited an hour for him, and still got charged! sad
