Urban Kempo

Solid 10/10. Just attended Urban Kempos womens self defense workshop and I absolutely cannot recommend it enough. Sensei Sean and Soraya are incredible instructors, and warm and welcoming as individuals. It was a fun, interactive session packed with practical self defense techniques and valuable tips on working with what you have. Im already looking forward to the next workshop!

A true racist, I came to this dojo based on the location being relatively close. However, after speaking to Mike this has completely deterred me from ever recommending it to anyone. Google needs to start adding negative stars as an option. I highly recommend taking your business to Pentagon Mixed Martial Arts or elsewhere.

As our five year old put it today Id rather stay at the dojo than watch cartoons Urban Kempo has fantastic teachers (we especially adore Sensei Soraya), a wonderful community, and just a really fun vibe! We are so glad that kiddo has a place to learn self-control and build his skills and confidence.

When we came to Urban Kempo, my 9 year old had no martial arts background and worried he was too old to start. However, he was welcomed with open arms at Urban Kempo. Right away, he was given the opportunity to challenge himself with kids his own age that had far more experience, and he rose to the challenge. He always looks forward to going to the Dojo and can't wait to show us what he's learned when he gets home. We have noticed an improvement in his focus and confidence since he began at Urban Kempo. We have all enjoyed getting to know the supportive Sensei's and other students.
