Crystal City Marriott at Reagan National Airport

They have all the making of a great place to stay. They just need more LEADERSHIP!!! Food left at front desk in plain sight for an hour. Not the best Marriott in Crystal City.

We only stayed one night before a flight from Reagan Airport but were very pleased with the hotel. The front desk staff, especially Sam, were very nice and helpful. The room was good size and very clean. Rooms: Nice size and quiet. Wish the bathroom light could have stayed on all night instead of timing off. Makes it easier to find the bathroom at night.

Very great stay here! Clean rooms, bathrooms, etc. Location is a pretty good launching pad if you are visiting DC (only 8 mins away from monuments, etc). Great coffee shops/restaurants are within walking distance. Friendly staff. Good price for the hotel. Parking was $40/45 a day- but not a major inconvenience or bad price in my opinion. Nice hotel with classy clean vibes in a cute , walkable area.

We stayed at Marriott Crystal City over Easter long weekend. The room was good, the location was great, the staff were friendly an helpful. The hotel is about a 3 minute walk from the Crystal City subway stop, which is an easy run into the National Mall area. It's far enough from the airport that the plane noise isn't too bad, and there are some good restaurants an easy walk away. The two stars for service is because we are a family of 5, we booked a room for 5, and then we got there to be told that the room had two queen beds. A folding cot was an extra $25USD a night, and Marriott staff said they couldn't waive this because the cots are provided by a 3rd party. The cot was pretty miserable and even an 8-year old found the mattress springs dug in - when we asked, staff provided extra bedding that we made into extra layers of padding. This fee for the extra bed when we said up front we were 5 is so different from what we've experienced from other hotels everywhere else - this tricky hidden fee really soured what was otherwise a really good experience. So, full recommend for groups of 4 or less, buyer beware for 5 and more! Walkability: easy walk to Crystal City metro, and some decent restaurants - Tacombi and Rasa were both great. Close to an Amazon Fresh as well.
