Really glad that I found this organization. I have been living so dysfunctionally and suffered from so much abuse , that I didn’t think there was a way out. I was being emotionally blackmailed ,physically abused , I was trapped financially, and I don’t have any family in this country to help me or my children out . I needed a place to go (shelter for my kids and I ), legal support , counseling , services for my kids , future planning etc . They have everything here . I am still living a difficult life, as I start over , it’s not easy being in a DV program during a pandemic , but anything is better than the relationship that I was in . I’d rather be dead than to be back in that situation . I was truly at my breaking point, if I hadn’t decided to pick up the phone , I really don’t know where I’d be right now . My kids are in a safer environment now , and that’s the most important thing . The employees here are all so nice , I’ve never met anyone in this organization that I dislike. They really have people working here that care .
