The Pinemoor

Had lunch and was blown away by the chicken sandwich. Its perfection! We also had a burger and the shrimp flatbread which were both delicious. The drinks and service (very attentive and polite) were great and well definitely be back!

Such a cute place to grab brunch, lunch, or dinner. Food and service are amazing. I sat at the bar and the bartenders are super respectful which is a rarity now a days when I go out since I am on the younger side of people who tend to sit at bars (22 yrs old) Not only did she treat me with such respect and give me amazing service, when I got up to go use the restroom, she placed a napkin over my drink to make sure it was not tampered with (as todays world is scary and you can never be too sure especially as a young solo female traveler) which I appreciate more than she could ever know. If you want to have an asking time with friends or family, get amazing service from genuine people, and have some great food, you should come to Pinemoor! Anytime I come back to D.C. I will be back.

Location is great, atmosphere is great, service is great. Food WAS great which is why I am giving it a 3 star review. This restaurant has had two complete menu overhauls in the past six months which in my opinion were needless. The first iteration of its menu was perfection, and the current one lacks any character or flavor. I recommend bringing back at least some of the southern kitchen concept you were making (and the steaks, they were great for the price!).

Disregard the menu you see in pictures and online. They recently changed it and it doesnt even compare to what it was. The staff was slow while I was there for drinks and most importantly, the food I ordered to go was terrible. Literally went straight to the trash.
