    2/27/24 Original 1 star review: My mother called and explained our living situation before an appointment was made. We do not own the house we live in but we have a contract which states we have explicit free liberty of the house to do whatever we want. She received good feedback and was offered to schedule an appointment. The inspector confirmed the appointment the day before he came out. The day of the inspection, he ended up arriving earlier than we expected since one of his earlier appointments fell through. Up to that point, we had received excellent customer service, but all that quickly crashed and burned promptly after his arrival. He refused to do the inspection and was extremely condescending with my mom. We can even go as far as to say that she was discriminated against as my mom is a short older Latina woman who has an accent. The guy made several uncalled for remarks and even went as far as asking if the owner even knew we were living here, alluding to the fact that he was assuming we were living here illegally. I don't know what kind of customer service training these field workers get, but this is definitely NOT the way you treat customers. He abruptly told my mom she was wasting his time and that he came to sign a contract for business. He also kept demanding my mom tell him every detail as to how we came to live in the house. I am highly upset with this situation and will definitely think twice before I ever decide to do business with this company again. 2/28/24 Update: The GM reached out to us today to try to make things right. His effort alone and willingness to hear me out has really made a difference in repairing the extremely negative experience we had. He informed me that the inspector had reached out to him shortly after leaving our house, which I am more than sure that it was just a matter of CYA on the inspector's behalf. The GM was very attentive in listening to everything I had to say and even went as far as apologizing several times. He also wanted to know what they could do as a company to fix this situation. As it stands now, we have decided to take a step back from doing anything to the house as the negative experience has definitely made its mark. I let him know of this decision to which he was very understanding and offered to help us in any future situations. I told him I am a huge advocate for proper customer service and that the only thing I want from them is to focus on training their field workers better so they can assist their future customers more efficiently. I am very pleased with this interaction as it shows that the GM really does care about their customers and is willing to go above and beyond to do what's right. In this day and age, that is not very common nor is it an easy fete. I commend him for his efforts and will definitely consider working with this company if the need arises again in the future.

    I recently left a negative review for JES foundation repair in regards to a situation that involved my mother and the services that she rendered from JES foundation. The owner did respond promptly after contacting my mother and discussing the situation and the issue that she had. He did take responsibility and apologize for the experience that my mother had and what was told and conveyed to her and he did take care of the issue promptly. My mother and I appreciate JES taking responsibility and making sure that it was corrected! That is why Im returning to leave a positive review for the company! Thank you again for making sure my mother was taken care of!

He was very knowledgeable and explained things well. He is a very good communicator and showed me things to look out for in the future. Joe is very kind.
