        I called to have my car towed as it wouldnt start. They relayed my information to the shop. The shop then called me with what was wrong. Great communication between me, the tow company and the shop! Ill use PGI again!

        On a Friday afternoon, an hour before they closed, our car decided not to start, and we were 30 minutes from home. We gave Phelps a call, and they quickly dispatched one of their drivers who towed our car home. We are thankful the good folks at Phelps were willing to help us so close to closing time - and on a Friday, at that! I definitely recommend this company! Service: Car towing

        My car had a transmission issue and needed to be towed to a different location. I called my insurance and they had PGI tow it to the location, after my cousin had informed the receiving garage that it would be there, as he was more familiar with the company working in a garage himself. Apparently my car had just been sitting there for the last week, because the person who towed my car didn't give them any of my information, and they didn't know whose car it was, all they received was a piece of paper with the cars information and not my own. I called to complain due to the fact that I have been in a rental paid for out of pocket, and blame was passed onto me and the garage it was sent to, saying they were only obligated to pick it up and drop it off. I understand that, that's what il they were paid to do, but the lack of responsibility, professionalism, and courtesy to leave a name and number on the SAME paper they had MY CARS INFORMATION on would have taken little to no effort. And to say that it was my fault instead of pretending to be blameless for their part in this makes me believe that they lack the integrity, and respect for their customers to be courteous enough to leave contact information in the vehicle. Do not choose this place to do anything for you, you will be disappointed and left unresolved if any issues occur. Service: Car towing

      Donnie, I apologize I was not available to be at your beck and call, but as Beth did tell Linda twice, we were at Dr appointments. As you may or may not know, I had a stroke in March and multiple complications have required extensive follow up appointments and management. DOT has even temporarily taken my CDL, which means no one can operate our big wrecker. Which is what was required for your rollback. When we got back into town around 5:30 your rollback was back at your shop. Which didn't seem like you needed us to call you back at that point. I am certain you did not mean to imply your inconvenience was more important than my health. But please in the future, from one towing business owner to another, don't bother calling us again.

      We are sorry you still feel this way. As I tried to relay to you, the vehicle information was given to the company. The fact that their internal system did not "connect the dots" between you calling and leaving all your information and us giving them year/make/model is not our fault. They had your information, and they had the information we gave them....As I also tried to relay, we understand your frustration and did not mean to insinuate it was anyone's "fault". But merely a gap in the process. We took your complaint, offered condolences, and stated we would look into different processes on our end. As far as our integrity, we performed the job assigned to us professionally. Your vehicle was picked up and delivered as requested. Attacking the company character is not necessary. But everyone is entitled to their opinion.
