The oldest Montessori school in Virginia is also the best Montessori School in Virginia! Our daughter has been here since she was 5 and she would stay through college if she could. She feels welcome and appreciated and confident thanks to the schools wonderful faculty, staff, students, and community. Sara in the business office is awesome, btw!

It's sad to see some of the reviews here because they don't reflect the school itself. The teachers are amazing and the education is top notch! My daughter was in love with the school and was excited each and everyday to see what adventures awaited her in the classroom. We made the difficult decision to pull her out after COVID because of personal reasons at the time. We plan to return when our youngest is old enough to attend. The school admins struggled right along with parents about what to do in the face of such a significant event but from my vantage point they've proven then and now that the best interest of the children are front and center. A terrific school and an excellent investment in your child's future!

My childs education was neglected they did not prioritize him and were looking for ways to profit instead. He was having trouble with his classes and when he went to get extra help from his teachers they refused and told him to he should already know the material. They also did not provide him with adequate resources for his school work. So how is he supposed to know the material?

As current parent we have felt so fortunate to be a part of the MSNV community for the past six years. Our child is thriving in the upper elementary program and genuinely so excited to go to school everyday. The Montessori curriculum is so valuable in allowing the children the creative freedom and the interpersonal social skills that will serve them the rest of their life. The outdoor opportunities throughout the day are fantastic and the incredible caring, nurturing environment truly provides an incredible experience for the children and the families of MSNV.

Best Montessori school in the DC region. Hands down. Wonderfully run business, lovely families, great teachers, beautiful setting, value for money. Authentic, Accredited, and Awesome!
