Really horribly verbally abusive staff. I do not recommend going here alone, especially women. It is not safe around staff who are so verbally abusive. Repeated shouting of the f-word by a male employee to a female (who is alone and only there for 5 minutes to responsibly recycle electronics) cannot and should not be in the City of Alexandrias safety and/or customer service protocols. Im glad he didnt ask me for my license because I would have been uneasy about him seeing my home address. Many other options are around Alexandria and I would gladly pay Best Buy to take my electronics to have avoided this horrible experience at a City of Alexandria recycling site. I will never go here again and it makes me wonder why we are all paying taxes to fund the employment of people who violently verbally abuse taxpayers who are responsibly using tax-funded services so that electronics are appropriately disposed of.

Easy in, easy out. Helpful staff. I recycled my glass into dumpster while there.

Stopped by yesterday to drop off a couple things (computers, old phones, batteries, fluorescent lights). The man was easygoing and kind. The process was easy. Its nice to have this service because certain stuff just really shouldnt be buried in a landfill.
