I came to elevated because of a concussion that I had sustained playing hockey. Dr. C made this recovery better and more fun then my previous concussion rehabs that I had done with sports teams. She not only helped me improve but also helped me to understand the whole process while we were going through each step in the recovery process. This helped me to increase my knowledge about how to properly recover in the best way possible. She was awesome to work with!!!

I have a hiatal hernia and I am not a good candidate for successful surgery to have it fixed. It was manifesting as chest pain and inflammation in addition to a few other symptoms. The inflammation was starting to have a serious effect on my quality of life. Looking at the issue, I started to wonder if it could be treated like an injury and if physical therapy might help. That's where Dr. Christina comes in. She listened to my symptoms and my concerns. As we went through my medical history and symptoms, you could almost see a lightbulb go off in her head about how to help me. She was honest, she hadn't dealt with this specific issue, but she thought she could help. We started with basic mobility exercises and gradually increased my exercises to strengthen my core without aggravating my symptoms. She worked on my flexibility and mobility right down to teaching me the proper way to walk (which has helped my hips which has helped my core). We've progressed to using dry needle therapy on my abdominal muscles (which, while not overly pleasant, has helped tremendously). Not only have my symptoms from my hernia improved, but my reflux issues have improved as well. I am feeling more fit than I have in years. I still have inflammation flare up occasionally, but when it does, it last less than an hour, not days or weeks like before. Doctor C is fantastic. My wife and I have had bad experiences with physical therapy before. Dr C is different. She cares. My quality of life have improved immensely for being in her care.

Dr. Alifrangis has been incredible. I have tried physical therapy for my hip multiple times with different groups, but nothing seemed to be helping. My doctor finally recommended hip surgery. I asked if he could recommend a specialist who could really give me the time and attention I needed to rehab my hip properly. He suggested that I see Dr. Alifrangis and she immediately made me feel like she understood my problem and was invested in my recovery. At this point, I am feeling better than I have in years, and I will not be having surgery anytime soon!

One of the best experiences I have had with a specialist. Dr.Alifrangis made me feel heard about my symptoms and she took her time to explain each test or exercise in easy to understand language. The office is a nice & welcoming enviroment. I could tell Dr.A is extremely passionate about helping her patients & had great recommendations to improve my health & lifestyle. I would recommend her to anyone looking for quality care.

Dr. Alifrangis is an amazing specialist. She is patient and excellent at communicating what I needed to work on as well as what was wrong with my head from my TBI. I was very please with my recovery, her recommendations for rehabilitation and all of the care services she provided.
