I have worked out at a number of places around D.C. I am happy I finally found Follow Thru Fitness and Alex "Chili". I never had a trainer that not only makes the exercises enjoyable, they are tailor fitted for me. I not only have lost weight, have more energy, I have functional strength that helps me in my daily life. I've had back surgery and things have always bothered me but now, I can say I am pain free and my body uses the correct muscle groups instead of straining my body and causing pain. (Note I still eat poorly but notice when I eat clean for a short period of time my body really tones up amazingly). Highly recommend and wish I found this amazing trainer sooner in life!

Always leave my sessions with Chili feeling energized and strong. She pushes you to take on new challenges while highlighting your strengths. I have been working with her for almost 4 years and I absolutely love discovering how to engage more control in my movements. I have Chili to thank.

After years of taking classes like Tabata and HIIT I felt like I wasnt getting stronger and seemed to be having more injuries. I had shoulder surgery several years ago and had to modify too many exercises I couldnt do anymore. I turned to Alex at Follow Thru Fitness for guidance on what I should be doing for my body to stay strong without hurting myself. Alex helped me learn what was good for me creating workouts that were challenging but creative, new and fun. I feel like I have a better balance in my routine now. Alex has been such a supportive and positive mentor. Shes truly a special coach!

I started training with Alex a year before the pandemic and kept up our weekly sessions virtually, even after moving out of state. Her workouts definitely challenged me but she always managed to keep it fun and varied. Prior to working with Alex, I was never someone who exercised regularly if at all. But after three years of training with Alex weekly, I now make it a regular part of my week and Im in the best shape of my life. Thanks to Alexs dedication and encouragement as a trainer, Ive completely changed how I approach my health and fitness.
