B9 Barber & Salon is a terrific place, and the people there are wonderful - I have been going there since they opened, and before that, Tina, who works there now, had been cutting my hair for some 20 years. B9 is an Old Town gem, and Kim is top notch! It is always a pleasure to go there. Service: Haircut

Unpleasant and unwelcoming walk-in men's haircut experience. Despite painted on the window "Walk-ins welcome", and no indication they prefer customers schedule an appointment, I was shamed for not calling to schedule; Kim seemed stressed about cutting my hair in time for later appointments. My haircut was very rushed and Kim did what she preferred instead of listening to what I asked for. Then she rushed my haircut further to finish when a second walk-in arrived. They should refuse instead of rushing walk-in haircuts. At the end I asked for more cut off the top to a shorter length which I prefer, and Kim refused to cut any more, again insisting on her style over my choices. I am not pleased with how my hair looks now due to the rushed cut that's not in my style. I do not recommend this barber and will not be returning.

Kim is great! Although they are salon, Kim has plenty of experience cutting men's hair as well and always does a great job. If you are in need of a haircut in the Old Town area, look no further than B9 Barber and Salon!
