I worked with April Fearnley when considering a separation agreement with one company, and subsequently in considering an offer from another. April conducted a thorough document review and provided excellent advice that was very easy to understand. Working with her enabled me to confidently move forward in both situations.

Wow. Where to begin with my experience at this law firm? I'm not sure if these positive reviews are "fake" as some others have noted, or, if in fact, they are "real" and those individuals were the lucky ones. What I have realized since reflecting upon this is that all I can do is share my honest experience with others - as the saying goes, "Your mileage may vary" but for whatever it may be worth to anyone reading this, please know that what I am about to write is an accurate and honest representation of my experience as a client at Spiggle .I contacted them a few years ago as I was being targeted at my now prior job for dismissal. Mr. M. and I spoke and he convinced me that I had a viable case. Mr. M. was also the first of THREE lawyers that I had as a client while at Spiggle. Yes, you read that right. 3 lawyers. Mr. M. drafted a demand letter. I later learned that Mr. M. had left, and my new attorney Ms. Y would now be taking over my case. She had a staggering lack of communication with me. I was forced to make repeated calls. I was unable to leave a voicemail. My emails mostly went unanswered by her. Later I received a letter letting me know that Ms. Y was no longer with the firm. I then received a letter from Mr. Mundaca who recommended Ms. R to me. Ms R and myself attempted mediation w/EEOC. The mediation was not successful but later, a dollar amount was agreed upon. Ms. R failed in her capacity as my lawyer to tell me at the time that a written email agreement between the two parties is not "legally binding" - she only informed me of this AFTER I accepted the offer. We had a phone call after which I received two emails from Ms. R (which I still have) wherein she seemed to be approximating the verbal equivalent of a "tantrum" for me DARING to not only disagree with her, but to also judge her abilities as my lawyer. As a paying client of the firm, I AM entitled to share my perspectives in a polite manner. As anyone who has had workplace issues and as a result, then felt vulnerable and under emotional duress and abusive attacks, I was now being subjected to this a SECOND time, by my very own lawyer. The unbelievable irony in this does not escape me at all. I was actually paying for the "privilege" of being abused. Ms. R inadvertently revealed during that phone call that she had NOT fully read the documentation provided as she claimed to be unaware of certain documents when I asked her. WOW. Really?!! Then WHAT, pray tell, WAS she being paid FOR, exactly?!! Mundaca took over after that, and all my communication was with him. There was an agreement to the settlement. He also sent a refund check for earlier over-billing incurred from the time Ms. Y was my attorney. Several months later, long after the fact of me receiving the settlement, I received a phone call from the EEOC asking about "what" the "status" of my case was. I tried my best to explain it all and was informed that it was the responsibility of my attorney to notify the EEOC of the outcome which they did NOT do. EEOC person said: "It's the fault of your attorney. They were supposed to do this for you." This person informed me that she had spoken to other clients of Spiggle who shared with her similar issues like that ones that I had experienced with them. She said: "My impression is that their firm has a high turn over rate" - well, that was definitely MY nightmarish experience with them, to be sure. I will say that only AFTER Mr. M stepped in did I receive any resolution on my case. 3 years. Thousands of dollars. Anxiety. Disrespect. Egregious conduct in overbilling. I came to the firm as a trusting individual hoping to receive help. Instead, I feel as if I was taken advantage of a SECOND time - by the law firm that I entrusted to help me. I am writing this review so that others may read my words and make an informed decision on their own. I can not even begin to say how very much I regret my decision to contract with Spiggle for help. I have been writing this review for close to an hour. Who do I bill?

When I reached out to Spiggle Law firm, I spoke with an intake representative. Very attentive to what I had to say. Within hours, I was referred to a Paralegal. After speaking with the Paralegal, within hours I was referred to an attorney Michael Ludwig. During my process I had many questions and needed guidance. No matter how many times I reach out to Michael, within minutes he would respond to me. During my process Michael kept me informed. Never there was a time I needed or had questions Michael was always responsive. I have had experiences with many professionals, Michael and Spiggle Law firm is beyond tops. If at anytime you there is a need for an employment attorney Spiggle Law is where you need to go. I rate Spiggle Law firm top notch. Michael went above and beyond, to make sure I got everything I deserved and more.
