My twins have been at Mount Vernon Community School for 1 year so far. My experience with the Administrative staff has been awesome. They are present and helpful and cheerful. They take care of our needs efficiently and quickly. Our teachers are smart, thoughtful, loving and disciplinary with our kids. They have helped them navigate from a single language private school to integration in this awesome bi-lingual public program. Our kids are blossoming. The Leaders of the school - Principal Balas and VP's Jim and Lisa are amazing, engaged, hardworking, big-hearted and responsive. Our kids are learning a lot, curious, engaged and enjoying it along the way. Its been an awesome year and we look forward to enrolling our 5 year old into Kindergarten in the Fall 2017!!
