This review is my opinion based on my first hand interaction with Elle the PA. Extremely disappointed, trusted that Advance Dermatology would be good at doing fillers. Sadly, I discovered the motivation is to make money by adding filler and a lack of caring for the customer needs. I visited a PA Elle Maruli she seemed to be more focused on her ego and bringing in $$$ than the patient. She over filled me, I looked completely ridiculous and very unnatural everything the industry says is the incorrect way to do filler. But her goal was obviously making money and she completely ignored my disappointment and refused to make things right by refusing to remove the excess filler. She wasted my time as I came to scheduled appointment where she was supposed to remove filler but refused because I expressed my disappointment with her work. She will tell you she is the best and to trust her of which I did and she made me look overfilled and foolish. This is embarrassing and I deeply regret trusting Advanced Dermatology with this procedure. I feel totally taken advantage of as she used 4 Juvaderm syringes to fill my lips and marionette lines, she filled the top of my nasal fold enhancing the nasal lines around my nose and mouth and denied doing it in her office. I was shocked at her dishonesty and her extreme lack of compassion for patients. She recommended using another filler for my jawline which I didn’t want but she was very pushy and aggressive. Looking back in retrospect it felt as if I was dealing with a pushy used car salesman instead of a healthcare worker. When attempting to rectify the situation and asserting my boundaries with her as well as my right to advocate for myself in order to remove the humiliation she put on my face which is overfilled duck like lips, I was shocked to see the unprofessional way Elle Murali handled the situation. She personalized everything as if she were the victim. I am extremely disappointed at her lack of professionalism as well as lack in compassion. I have always been treated with respect by all the staff and doctors at Advanced Dermatology which I have been going to for many years. Dr. Glass met with me and was wonderful at reassuring me that the staff and team were on my side. The nurses and staff were kind and compassionate to me. In fact, the first nurse who assisted Elle gave me a hug and apologized for the experience I had with Elle on 11/30. The office manager cared about my needs. Elle on the other hand did not and treated me poorly refusing to take responsibility for her pushy actions and ignoring my concerns by refusing to remove the excess filler. She gleefully told my that, no one else in the clinic that could remove the excess filler and that I had to go and find someone else. She told me I should go back to my other Dermatologist for filler both times I went into the office to remedy the situation. However, according to the industry best practices they recommend you go back to the original provider to have the filler removed. So Elle Maruli a PA decided to go outside of industry best practices based on my opinion her ego, arrogance and inability to have compassion to empathize with her patients, render her incompetent. She clearly has been propped to have unfettered power which in my opinion, causes harm to patients and it has no place in the healthcare industry. She refuses to do the right thing by her patients. To date I am still awaiting a call from the office manager as I was charged $4076.00 for a service that has left me looking ridiculous and now having to pay someone else to fix this devastation on my face. Elle knew this & seemed all to happy to see me out more $$$$ & devastation. She should not be in the healthcare field their is no caring in her. This event has caused me a great deal of distress & humiliation. I would be doing a great disservice to everyone coming after me if I didn’t share what has happened to me. This review is my opinion based on my personal experience and first hand interaction. Needless to say, I do not recommend her.
