        Really nice coffee shop. Delicious espresso, self-roasted. Roomy area with authentic industrial furniture/shelving/etc. Large roasting space in next room. Friendly customer service, staff willing to talk coffee.

        The coffee and food is fine. The seating is large, communal tables. Honestly, my issue is how they serve even the for-here orders in single-use plastic cups and paper packaging without even a single recycle bin in sight. Come on yall, its 2024

        I was excited to learn that Swing's has been roasting and selling coffee in the area since *1916*!! (believe she said 1016 E St (NW, I presume) in DC was the original location). Good coffee (a macchiato) , by the way.
