Was there for use of the notary and sat there for about an hour, and finally at closing time was assisted by someone who was not the notary woman who originally handled the case. This wouldnt have been an issue if everything that was previously stated hadnt been entirely contradicted. The employee actually turned to blame the misinformation on his colleague and said she was responsible for the mistakes made with our circumstances and that we couldnt be helped. Now we need to go to another Chase to have this handled properly.

I went in over 2 days to get a legal document notarized. This document includes me taking some legal responsibilities for someone in another state. The other party has already started the process and they have the full legal documents sent up for a special team at Chase to review. All that is needed is the signature that I accept this responsibility. First day I am told I need a witness besides the notary even though there is no place on the document for witness information. Next day I bring a witness I wait for over an hour. During that time only 2 clients were serviced and they left probably 15 mins before I did so that means they took more than a hour and possibly 2 to complete their business. A man offers to help me after he initially said he was not a notary and that the actual notary should be done soon. This employee refuses to notarize my document or send the signature to the special trust team. He also threw his colleague under the bus saying that the document did not require a witness. I was frustrated but I was going to let it go so I go to leave. He explains to me that I am misunderstanding and he is giving me options. He tells me to have the other party deposit the check into their account even though the document specified it needs to be a separate account and I advise him of the special circumstances and legalities. He states he understands but quickly goes back to this "option". He also throws other excuses as to why he can't notarize this document including implying it could be fraudulent. He isn't interested in proof that it isn't. It's clear to me that the individual I spoke to has no experience with this and probably isn't a notary. When I asked for a manager it appears he is also the manager. It appears this location struggles with even basic banking processes since both other clients took over an hour to complete. I hate writing reviews because I generally feel as though most people are doing their best but the service I received here was especially awful. It has caused me to reexamine my relationship with Chase for my baking services. Fun fact: I later got it notarized in less than 20 minutes somewhere else. I'm not returning to this Chase though I assume they'll be another problem with escalating this signature to where it needs to go.

Amazing experience with Chase bank and certainly Darien is such a CoOl and wonderful person.

Amazing banking experience! Had a banking issue and Luis helped me. He was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. Highly recommend. Its always a easy and pleasurable experience when I have to stop by.
