Silverado is an exceptional community providing specialized care for those affected by dementia. The team is warm, genuine and dedicated. Its clear that the residents and their care partners are the priority. I have known clients and friends of mine to tour several other senior living communities and select Silverado as the very best time after time, even if this means waiting for an open apartment. In a time where senior living occupancy rates have decreased, Silverado continues to be the provider of choice.

We read a lot about Silverados core belief that love is greater than fear, and Silverado Alexandria has proven that to us - for our loved one. Theyve demonstrated the knowledge, experience and empathy to create a care plan that meets his needs, and the ability to align the staff team in support of it. Professionals totally dedicated to memory care and to a noble purpose can make a difference - as they have for our loved one and for our family. Ive seen commitment to joy here, and the capability to back it up. We love to visit and to see other residents and families as well. I am struck by the continuity from our first contact with Silverado, to the initial meeting and tour, to the application process, to ultimately learning of an opening, to preparation for move in, to move in, to the meeting after two weeks, and beyond. The communication has been consistent and reliable. The follow-through has been as-promised. This is one of the biggest decisions a family can make, and in our experience they respected and honored that. And then they lived up to it. In my experience, residents go to Silverado to thrive. We were looking for a place where our loved one would maximize his moments. From therapy, to activities, to engaged staff, to strong leadership, to access to care, to excellent food, to a commitment to dignity, to a strong community, to quality accommodations, and simply to a smile and kind word from a team member, he indeed is maximizing his moments. We are grateful we found Silverado - and specifically the Alexandria location. There are two absolute gems for home care and memory care we have found throughout our advocacy and care for our loved one, and we are happy to recommend them. For memory care, we strongly recommend Silverado.

After looking at a half dozen different memory care communities for my spouse, Silverado Alexandria was easily the community I wanted to have my loved one reside. After a year of being there, I know I made the right decision and if faced with making the decision again, I'd do exactly the same.
