Willow Run Apartments

Our experience with Willow Run was in short, terrible. I wish I was exaggerating but heres just a list of the things that happened. First week we lost a fridge full of ingredients because it was broken when we moved in. Our hot water heater broke twice, the first time we went an entire weekend without hot water because they wouldnt come fix it. The pipes from our washing machine froze leading to a load of ruined clothes, and water all over the house. Our house has flooded two other times from the broken water heater, waking us up in the middle of the night with water everywhere. I was electrocuted 3 times from the stove due to faulty connection they couldnt fix. We werent able to lock our house for months due to broken door lock that they wouldnt change. They also came and tried to spray insect poison throughout my kitchen! Thankfully, I happened to be home for lunch and stopped them. But through all that, I was patient because only real reason to have an apartment is to have a place to sleep at night. However, that also became consistently disturbed. The people above domestically abused each other, screamed and threw things at one another regularly from 1-3am. We called the police on them several times, and told the landlords who did nothing. We were forced to leave. We always paid our rent on time and were patient through everything so I asked if they would waive, not the break-lease payment, but just ONE of the two months rent we were forced to pay ahead of time. They never replied.

Took forever to get thru the leasing process. Found another place before they could get me in. Now waiting for a $700 pet deposit refund 1 month later.

They don't even take a voucher any more. Some ppl have to live with a voucher

Daughter lives there. Nice place, but expensive.

It is used to be a good place to live. The rent was very reasonable, the property was well maintained, and the owners were very good people. However, after being bought out by big $ ValCap, all of that has changed. Dbl the rent, property is falling apart, and the owners aren't there it's hired hands who can do nothing but what the $ (owners) dictates!
