Shoney's

Staff were excellent!!! They worked with my 3 ywar old daughter well and were very considerate. I took off one star due to not getting crayons for her coloring page they gave her, and because the food *really* needs some spices for taste. It's pretty bland but that could be them catering to their demographic, but it was still bland.

The food and service was great. I think Shoney's is the only restaurant I've seen where you can get salad and breakfast foods on the the same buffet. The Abingdon Shoney's also has great displays from local artists which make dining and standing in line more interesting.

Sadly will be the only time we stop in to eat. Took our parents here from out of state and the front hostess ladies were very rude, slamming everything around and yelled at us if we had numbers and seemed very irritated by us coming in. Use to be a good place to sit in at but the server was very nice and pleasant and Apologized to us for their behavior. Can't remember her name but she was very nice and made it to where we stayed and ate.

Wonderful staff and great food! Charlie, is one of the best waitresses I've ever had and she always makes me and my family feel welcome and well-looked after. Hopefully they give her a raise! We come from Bristol every week just to eat at this Shoney's because it's the best!

Food not up to usual standards. Sausage and bacon both burnt. Breakfast potatoes tasted like they had been fried in old oil. Scrambled eggs were awful. Great waitress very attentive.
