Dr. Hoy did an amazing job with Milo, he had a cherry eye and double entropion. His healing went exactly as Dr. Hoy said. BEVs was great as well, they did his neuter & gastropexy at the same time to limit anesthesia. Now he's got clear vision and almost no eye discharge vs prior to the surgery. The desk and scheduling were a challenge with communication, but the confidence in Dr Hoy made it worth it and we'd do it again if needed.

I cannot say enough great things about Dr. Brines and her assistant Ashlee! I had a horrible issue with my beautiful English cream golden retriever, who just had turned 2 just a couple weeks prior to having to have emergency visit. He woke up holding his eye shut. Long story short, it turned out to be sudden glaucoma, which his pressure shot up to 69! His eye ended up bulging and blue in less than 24 hours he was blind!! ( bad Breeding/hereditary issue) this Dr. Did ALL she could, but it was already too late. He ended up having to have his eye removed, and now has a 50/50 chance of losing the other one! He was in a horrendous amount of pain prior to surgery but she made sure to keep him comfortable! She has been diligent in helping me to do all we Can to try to save this other eye, and NEVER EVER makes you wait for a call/response to any and all questions! Never rushes you, is so caring, understanding, compassionate and thorough! She KNOWS her business and even though it is a 5 hour round trip for us to get care, I would never go elsewhere! God bless her and ALL the staff there for being so sweet and caring, especially when you are under tremedous heartbreak and anxiety in a horrible situation where you feel helpless, they make you feel like your babies are in more than competent hands! thank YOU!!!

Amazing staff. Dr. Sarah Hoy and her assistant were amazing with my dog Willow. The office was clean and large, it felt like a childrens hospital in there. Dr. Hoy answered all our questions and was very informative of the surgical procedure my dog needed. She was highly professional and made my dog and us very comfortable. Her examination was thorough and she took time to explain her process and what she found. Her diagnosis was completely accurate (compared to the three vets that misdiagnosed my dog in different places I went to before Vermont Veterinary Eye Care). The surgery my dog needed was completed with great care and accuracy and my dog healed within weeks (minor surgery). I highly recommend VVEC to anyone and everyone. Im a pet sitter and now recommend all of my clients that have any eye problems to VVEC.
