I worked with Jamie Woodward and Storied Events for my wedding on 10/5/19 in Barnard, VT. She was great and I can't recommend her and the company enough, especially if you are having a wedding in the Woodstock area.

Carrie, Jamie and the staff of Storied Events are FANTASTIC. Their attention to detail, problem solving and having contingency plans in place is unparalleled. They create a magical space for you literally from the ground up! As a professional photographer who has had the pleasure of working with Carrie and the team I know their events will run smoothly with plenty of time for everything, so you don't feel rushed and can really enjoy the day. I personally love how they weave your story into the event details, it's amazing. You will feel cared for and seen, for sure. Highly highly recommend them!

Youre probably reading this review because, like us, you want to do your research to ensure the perfect wedding. We know this can be a lengthy process, so allow us to save you some time. Hire Storied Events. Its that simple. We dreamed of a high-end, multi-day, medium-sized (100 guests) wedding, and we found it difficult to locate a wedding planner who could make our vision come true. We wanted to provide a true New England experience to our guests, more than half of which were coming from out of state. After talking with several local and remote wedding planners, we found Storied Events website from a Google search and were immediately excited to make first contact. From the very beginning, the amazing staff from Storied Events was very communicative and understanding of the type of wedding we were looking for. We had the pleasure of working with Kelsea as our planner, and Carrie (the owner) as our designer. We first contacted them in mid-February 2017 for a September wedding and they were able to put everything together on the relatively short timescale with ease. We had a three day event with a welcome party on Friday night, various guest activities on Saturday morning before the wedding, and a brunch Sunday morning. Kelseas background in business showed as she easily managed the multitude of tasks we gave her, and with great communication. She would handle many of the details and research tasks in the background, and present us with a summary that would help us make decisions which took much of the stress out of the process. She used our preferred electronic communication mediums (Google Docs, and email) very effectively, and was quick to schedule meetings or calls when it made sense. She was adept at handling our picky parents by addressing their concerns and answering their questions in the early phases (multiple contract amendments, etc) as well as working with a stationary company in Los Angeles for paper goods (per MOB request). They say great people surround themselves with other great people. This is especially true of Storied Events. The majority of the vendors we worked with were recommended by Storied Events because they had great experiences with them in the past. Each of their vendors were professional, courteous, and deserving of glowing reviews on their own. Even when we had an unforeseen event with a transportation vendor at the last minute (which was not part of Storied Events usual portfolio), Kelsea was able to quickly locate a new vendor before the event was over with no interruption to our guests experience. The actual day of the wedding, they handled everything and it all went so smoothly! All we had to do was show up and say our vows. They had a team of personnel at the wedding to attend to any issues that came up as well has help our guests when need be. Kelsea was on top of last minute issues, like running out and getting hand warmers for the guests because it was unexpectedly cold. She had thought of everything and it really showed! Our guests noticed the attention to detail that was put into our wedding and they appreciated it. Several people told us that this was hands down one of the best weddings they had ever been to and we owe everything to Kelsea, Carrie, and the amazing staff at Storied Events for making it all happen.
