Great people, great artists, great space. Max designed an epic piece based on my rather vague request. He was great to work with, and did an amazing job. One sitting, even provided lunch. Need some ink? This is the place.

I have been to Black Garden once, for their Halloween flash event. Morgan ended up doing a small hand tattoo for me, it was one of the best tattoos Ive had done. Such a fun, inviting, and cool environment to be in for you tattoos. Such a great shop, both artists are amazing, I will be going back.

Highly recommend choosing Black Garden for all your tattooing needs! Both Max and Morgan are extremely talented artists, and have created such an amazing tattooing experience. I have now had two tattoos done by Max, both of which have exceeded my expectations. They are welcoming, funny, and creative artists that will provide you with amazing work. I cannot say enough to describe how highly I recommend their shop, all you can do is get one for yourself and see!!

Max tattooed my upper sleeve in early 2024 when he was a guest artist at Love Struck Tattoo in Annapolis, MD. The entire experience was top notch. Ahead of the tattoo he was responsive and drew up a beautiful design that integrated with my existing shoulder tattoo based on some reference art I sent him. On the day of, we instantly hit it off. He was just super easy to chat with and has a great attitude. We adjusted the stencil a few times as he wanted to get the whole piece laid out properly. I'm super stoked with how the tattoo came out even after our first session doing the outlines (7.5 hours). It healed up beautifully too. I'm planning on heading up to their studio to finish the tattoo this summer where we'll fill and shade some of the components that have been lined out. Just about everyone who sees it compliments it. Thanks Max!
