Rocky and his wife work hard to keep Swanton motel up and running I stayed almost 5 months before getting my apartment there very clean and respectful people I would go back and stay there anytime never had a problem or a issue no bugs anywhere thanks for ur hospitality rocky and Kay well be back Walkability: Its walking distance anywhere in Swanton

I have been staying here since the Covid pandemic and they have been housing homeless guest through the state and I will say these two owners work very hard to try and make it as clean and homelike as possible for homeless people who have nowhere to go. I watch people take advantage of them and be very rude when theyre staying there. Free of charge through the state I have been treated nothing but kind to they come and ask me if I need anything upon arrival, my room was clean. I have not seen any bugs nothing in the sheets maybe some minor things here and there I had a window issue. I let them know about it, and they promptly came out with a window guy to fix my window with a brand new one which was Awesome, they both work very very hard for not having any other staff working with them and I commend them both on their hard work for as much as they put up with about 99% of the people house. There are through the state and live there free of charge and treat them like dirt and then leave bad reviews when they get kicked out I have witnessed it firsthand , so me being here currently still here I would just like to say anybody passing through just need a place to stay for the night. They are very house hospitality like and they are very nice people and will accommodate your needs if anything is not right upon arrival, but they do work very hard and Everything was set for me when I arrived as well as a clean bathroom and clean beds. I also have an 11 month old baby that roams freely and it has been a good place to be. Rooms: The rooms are very clean never had ONE ISSUE WITH A BUG OR ANYTHING

We have been here almost a week and out of the many places we've unfortunately been, this is by far, the nicest. It's quaint. It's quiet. The owners are very pleasant and accommodating. It's just what we need right now until we are in our own home.

I caught HEADLICE there. The husband was very nice but wife was very aggressive. The first night there my white socks were black from the bathroom floor. The drawers had food crumbs, the bedding wasn't Rooms: The windows had no screens in half of them. Walkability: The patio was cute and cozy, the grill did not work and the pool was not filled. What little water it had was a nursery for mosquitoes and larvae. Food & drinks: The ice machine and soda machines did not work. The husband and wife constantly yelled in their own language. I think if they want to be Americans, they should speak English around guest. I don't think they keep up to the standard their prices suggests. I will not recommend this motel to anyone.
