I work in the live entertainment industry and I have to say Higher Ground is absolutely one of my favorite venues to work at.The House Managers, staff and crew are the nicest on the East Coast! I and you cannot beat the in-house catering thanks to Encore catering you guys are the best! As far as the venue itself it's split up into two different rooms the sound is great even with two shows going on .I highly recommend this venue parking is a breeze and there's a hotel located within a 1-minute walk you can't go wrong at Higher Ground!

Great, first-time experience at Higher Ground to see Shovels & Rope. The sound is great and there is a good selection of beers. Parking was a slight troubling experience for such a highly-attended show. The parking lots are dark and there are warnings about parking in the wrong lot and risk of being towed. As an out-of-towner, this was my only concern. Cheers to local music venues!

Honestly kinda lame, was kicked out even tho I wasnt even in. Can you believe it? NO REFUNDS do not under any circumstance take your children near here. The security was eyeing me funny and made me very very uncomfortable. I hope no ever has experience the pain and lost money I and many others encountered last night. If you see a cranky old security guard please tell him shrek has no love in his heart for him. xoxo
