Got a last minute spot right on the river. The wifi is worth the $7. It allowed our Roku to work. Great place and friendly and helpful staff. Really enjoyed it and would return if in the area again.

This place is awesome best of the best. The whole experience was amazing from the office staff right out to the owner who dedicates his heart and soul to everything here from the minute you drive in till you leave you feel welcomed.

Our family has been camping here for many years & will continue to do so! We have developed friendships with many other families & love watching our kids swim, fish, kayak, ride bikes n scooters, & visit other sites who treat them as family. The sites are spacious, bathrooms are well cleaned, and it is safe & peaceful!

Now on my third visit to River's Bend. The location is absolutely perfect for me as I have family that lives in Middlebury. The sites are large with my preference being the riverside sites. With each visit, I have noticed improvements to the property. The owners are doing a great job. On this trip the owners have been particularly accommodating offering to do anything they could to assist me. I was struck head-on by a motorcycle about an hour away from the campground. Their concern demonstrates commitment to provide a great experience. River's Bend Campground is my "go to" place in Vermont. I look forward to many future visits. Minus, of course, the head-on accident part :)

I paid for my wood with my last $6 bills when I checked in just before 7pm the night before me and my 12 year old son were to volunteer at the Addison County fair the following day, 2 and a half hours from our hometown. My small, new GTI car was full, I had no room to put the wood in when I checked in. The gal at the desk was super friendly. I explained we weren't from the area and that I brought a pan and some canned goods, and that I'd need wood or suggestions of where to go for food. She said they have wood for purchase there and it was $6 for six pieces, any ones we chose. Again gave her my last six bills. We chatted a bit more than my sin an I went to find the site set up the tent and unpack the car. We went back to pick up wood. My son and I were then approached by, interrogated, and ultimately accused of trying to steal the six pieces of wood that I had purchased under half an hour prior. I explained or tried to explain we purchased the wood and it wouldn't fit with all our camping gear in my small car. The "man" said not to get lippy, to show him the receipt, which I was not gicat. and that WE were stealing. I tried to explain in tears at this point but not being from the area and not wanting my son to witness any more of the disrespect, or knowing this "man" I got scared and my son and I got in the car and went back to the site. I called and left a message on the campgrounds phone number immediately. We then had to go drive around the unfamiliar area to find an ATM and wood to purchase so we could cook on..First thing that morning I went to the office, the didnt open until checkout and we had to go volunteer. The gal called back after checkout time. They never even offered to reimburse us the $6 they stole from us. We should have at the very least been returned our $6 for the wood we never received.... Before the run in with the man, who I found out to be the OWNER I would have given 4 star rating. His greed is clearly why he has the priciest camper, best seasonal spot, boat, Atvs golfcarts etc. Someday your disrespectful and thieving ways will catch up to you.
