The worst hotel I stayed in on my 2022 Appalachian Trail hike. I arrived at 10:00 am, before check in, and was told that if I wanted to check in I would have to pay an additional $20 because they would have to get the room cleaned fast. The room was not previously occupied. The breakfast bar was a total joke and only opened up when the owner wanted waffles. I think I did get my $20 back in the hot water. I kept it going all day until the paint on the walls started to bubble up and the room was as humid as the Amazon River Basin. Screw them.

Great lodging for the money! Clean rooms, comfortable beds, complete with refrigerator, microwave and coffee maker. Staff is knowledgeable about the area and very helpful. Rooms: Comfy beds, slept very well. Plenty of storage; they even have an ironing board, closet & drawer space. Refrigerator, microwave & coffee maker. Food & drinks: They offer free self-serve breakfast. Cereals, waffles, juices, bagels, and of course coffee.
