        Great Quiet Location @ 1/2 mile off of Main Street. Pete is Golden for Hikers!!! Clean Comfortable Rooms. Gas station right next door for any last minute supply needs.

        I stay here EVERYTIME Im in the area- Utterly love the cool vintage yet updated motel with the best social encouraging vibes. Pete is so AT friendly- trail angel tables often set up. Outside benches- people chatting. Dog and all needs and life form friendly , clean and a bit kitschy. HIGHEST RECOMMENDATIONS! Rooms: Super clean with OG furniture with modern amenities Nearby activities: AT Safety: very safe Walkability: Absolutely minutes to downtown Noteworthy details: AT trail friendly- shuttle services Awesome dog friendly and social interactions outside benches

        5 stars from the backpacking community! Free shuttle (pickup and return)from VT 9, laundry for $5, and a 10-minute walk from downtown Bennington. Rooms are clean and comfortable.
