The Pierre Motel is a hallmark of the voucher programs in Vermont. This motel needs to change its name to The Barre Shelter.

Have always had the most pleasant and relaxing visit every time I use this hotel. Family owned, and run, and what a great family. You'll not have a better experience at any other hotel in the area. They keep the cleanest rooms in the whole state, and I've stayed so over Vermont. Rooms: Each room is kept so clean, and neat, smelling so nice. Nearby activities: When the city isn't in the recovery state it's in now there's so much closer by. Fishing, hiking, biking, bowling, etc. Safety: Safest part of town, as well as the cleanest, and perfectly positioned for anything you want to do. Walkability: The bus stop is less than a block away to go all over the twin cities are they call then locally. Food & drinks: Some great local places to enjoy, clean, fast, and close, as well as right along the public transit line to and from the capital. Noteworthy details: The staff is so helpful, and polite, with the best public relations attitudes I've ever run across.
