image After 7 months of trying to get these people to do my taxes I received them back ready to send out with several mistakes. Upon review of my new accountant there was more mistakes found. When confronted about it only the minor errors were acknowledged and the major ones affecting the amount due were denied and they would not fix them. When I asked for a 50% refund it too was denied. So here I am having to leave a 1 star review only because I cant leave 0 stars. Good luck and happy accountant searching.

Business Response on Google May 31st, 2023
During September of 2022, you dropped off tax return data for delinquent tax years, which had been prepared by another tax firm, but not filed, as you felt they were in error. You provided the returns and a few of the previous firm’s workpapers, but certainly not what a preparer would expect to see or need to accompany your type of tax return. When asked for backup, you stated you didn’t have any, and when I told you that you could ask the previous tax firm for them, you said you weren’t going to. Instead of providing back-up information for the returns you wanted redone, you provided envelopes of receipts and bank statements. You then supplemented the information with phone calls explaining how you keep track of your books. We went through and worked with receipts and bank statements to create revenue and expense sheets for two years. This portion alone is extremely time consuming. We sent an email November 9th, requesting info for which you responded on November 29th. We asked for additional information on January 16th, of which you began getting us the requested info on February 25th. After working on two years of returns and nearly completed, you notified us that your tax status had changed, which required us to redo the returns. Last Thursday May 25th,(although you picked up your returns at the end of March) you came into the office very upset and told the employees there were three errors on your return, and you wanted them fixed and a 50% refund. We did not refuse to make the changes and in fact, we tried to reach out through a phone call on Monday, and when it went unanswered, we emailed later that day. We asked or stated the following: What information was incorrect and to send supporting documents for changes. Supplied information regarding your returns and where the data could be found, and Gave you an explanation of a questioned costYour response was that you wanted all of your documents back and a 50% discount. We did not refuse to make changes for you, however, the amount of work that was put into creating the income and revenue sheets for the multiple years, in addition to the hours spent on the phone and emailing, and changing your return due to your failure to provide your tax status change, far exceeds the amount that you were billed, therefore we do not feel a refund is warranted.
