Let me paint you a picture. . Youve been playing music the majority of your life, and youve always loved creating & performing (through the ups and downs). Now, youve finally gotten enough courage and drive to take the next step in your path as an artist. You decide to immortalize your music and record an album. But, oh no, now comes the wave of how, when, where, who!?. . At least, thats how it was for us. We knew music, we knew how we wanted to be heard, but we had no idea how to make it happen. The vast world of recording was a mythical beast we never thought wed actually see up close and personal. . However, by some stuck of luck, in the middle of the panic, we met Dave Tate. A phenomenal musician, an engineering virtuoso, and an all around stellar human being. And he was the answer to the how, when, where, who!?. Dave, gets as committed to your songs as you are in the studio. Pulling out all the stops to make sure he captures YOUR vision. His ability to make himself feel like another member of the band (or in our case a brother) is incredible. We could not recommend Dave Tate of Red Earth Recording Studios more. Dave was phenomenal to work with - I told him exactly what I wanted out of my song and he didnt stop until we achieved that. I was very grateful to have found his studio and worked with him. He also has amazing prices for the work that he does, and the sound comes out very crisp and professional. Highly recommend!

I was a little nervous when I showed up at "Red Dirt Recording Studios" for my first recording session, because the song I wanted to record was very special to me. It was a tribute to the life of a close friend who had recently passed away.. In addition, it was a long song with complex parts, and I wanted the feel of a live-recording. I knew it would take a very professional sound engineer to pull it off. Within five minutes of beginning the session, I knew that Dave understood what I wanted. We did the song in one-take, except for a second guitar part, which we added. One hour later, I was on my way home to St. George. Dave was going to spend an hour or so mixing the song and then send me a file for review. By the time I got home, the file was waiting for me, and it sounded perfect. Thank you for making my first studio recording session a great one, Dave. I will definitely use "Red Dirit"l for future projects and I'll be recommending Dave to other songwriters and performers whom I know.

Dave is the greatest!! It was my first time ever recording and being in a studio and he was very patient and knew exactly what i wanted to bring to life. You can tell he loves what he does and cares about his clients and wants you to succeed!! Very pretty drive on the way and great set up and overall sound!! Red Earth Studios can produce the best quality music in the area and Im lucky to have worked with Dave!

Dave is a very talented musician and has a great ear for music. His is also a very talented music production, and mixing. I will be recommending him to others who are looking for someone to record their music.
